Working as a multi-skilled journalist, I have experience preparing and reading live news bulletins, setting up the flagship breakfast show and producing it behind the glass. I source contributors, undertake research, produce packages for playout and have presented episodes of We Are Notts - a community focused show. Using my strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, I interview guests and am able to contribute live reports.
During BBC Introducing in the East Midlands programmes, I update social media channels, create online graphics and videos, liaise with musicians, collate user generated content, edit long-form audio, and utilise user-generated content.
I worked as a podcast editor and producer on different long-form podcasts, topics including parenting, football, fitness and politics. Using the Adobe suite, I also created social media graphics, posts and videos on a range of topics.
