I've had several regionally focused TV pitches commissioned on the local news. Whilst working as a floor manager on the live evening news show and as a runner on numerous outside broadcasts, I ensured the set and technical equipment were safe and ready to use before going live. I acted as the link between the gallery team and the studio floor, ensuring the broadcast ran smoothly whilst live and during pre-recs.
As an autocue operator, I proofread, edited scripts, and controlled the prompting system whilst live on air.

Here are some of the reports I produced and planned for BBC East Midlands Today.
I created this video for my university mobile journalism module to illustrate an online article about Hockley Hustle. The one-day festival had 30 venues across independent shops, quirky cafes and small music venues, to show all of the talents Notts has to offer.
Hockley’s yearly Hustle had a range of creative stages, from spoken word to singing. The BBC Introducing stage at Rough Trade had a range of musicians, playing a variety of music from soft rock to slow acoustic jams.
I created this news package for my NCTJ coursework portfolio, which contained 10 stories collated and submitted during the lockdown. This story was made on the 1st of June 2020, the first day since lockdown measures were introduced in March that people from different households were allowed to meet in groups of up to six people. It was recorded with the intention to be directly uploaded onto a news website or social media channel's rolling news about coronavirus.
